FUNCIONAMIENTO
Para poner a funcionar el artefacto, presione el interruptor en el extremo del calentador de toallas
en el lado del cordón eléctrico. Éste se iluminará al encenderse.
El costo de operar el calentador de toallas es igual o menor al de un foco normal. Tardará
aproximadamente 45 minutos para que el calentador de toallas alcance su temperatura de
operación, aunque este tiempo pudiera ser menor si hay toallas colocadas en el mismo.
El calentador de toallas funciona con una potencia de salida fija. Sin embargo, cuando se hace
funcionar con varias capas de toallas sobre el mismo, la temperatura aumentará. Una vez que las
toallas son retiradas y las barras quedan expuestas, la temperatura del calentador de toallas caerá
rápidamente.
Sírvase tener en cuenta lo siguiente: los materiales húmedos o mojados que hayan sido teñidos,
o no sean de colores fijos, pueden causar una decoloración en el acabado si el toallero calentado
es cubierto con dichos materiales mientras está caliente.
Se sugiere secar los artículos utilizando una capa protectora de material, como una toalla, debajo
de los materiales que no sean de colores fijos.
Advertencia - este artefacto está diseñado para secar únicamente materiales textiles lavados en
agua.
Los tejidos que contienen residuos de jabón o detergente podrían mostrar lo que
aparentan ser marcas chamuscadas. Ésta es la decoloración del residuo debido al calor.

To disconnect, turn all controls to the “OFF” position, then grasp the plug and
remove from the outlet. Do not pull on the cord to unplug.

Safety Precautions

electrical rating of your outlet is greater than or equal to that marked on the appliance.
To prevent risk of electrical shock, this appliance should only be plugged into a
properly grounded outlet. Never use any appliance with a damaged cord, that has
malfunctioned, or been damaged in any manner. If an appliance has stopped working,
do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. If damage to the appliance has
occurred, contact customer service for assistance. All repairs must be made by a
qualified, competent electrician.
CAUTION:
Do not use this appliance in or near water, in the bath tub, sink or near
any other container. Never wrap extra cord length around the rails of the towel warmer,
this could cause the cord to melt or burn.

Mantenga el calentador de toallas boca abajo y colóquele la base de manera que los agujeros
de los pernos queden alineados con las dos barras verticales del calentador de toallas.
•
Notará que los agujeros para los pernos en la base están descentrados. Para mantener la
estabilidad, el pedestal deberá colocarse de manera que quede sujeto por la parte de atrás de
la base (o sea,: con las parte mayor de la base dando al frente del calentador de toallas).
También notará que el calentador de toallas es curvo, y la manera correcta de colocar el mismo
es que al verlo de frente, el cordón eléctrico sale del lado derecho.
•
Inserte un perno a través de cada agujero y utilice la llave Allen para apretarlos.
•
El calentador de toallas debe utilizarse solamente una vez la base esté correctamente instalada.
•
Una vez que la base esté firmemente instalada, puede enchufarse el calentador de toallas a un
tomacorriente (recomendamos utilizar un tomacorriente de 120V protegido con un GFI). Pulse
el interruptor de encendido de manera que se ilumine la luz y su unidad calentadora de toallas
estará lista para usarse.
