5. Programming the WSAB1
The WSAB1 converter and sounder are already pre-programmed. Normally you do not need to
reprogram.
To reprogram:
1. Switch off the Sounder battery switch.
Ensure both batteries are connected.
2. Ensure the converter is connected to panel.
3. Press the converter ‘Learn’ button for 5 to 10 seconds.
The LED on the converter will light a green
colour and then switch off to indicate the converter has reset.
4. Press the learn button once.
The LED on the converter will light a green colour for 20 seconds.
5. Switch on the Sounder battery switch during the 20 seconds.
The converter LED will flash twice to
indicate the sounder is programmed.
6. Adding an additional WSAB1
Sounder
The converter can operate with two WSAB1 external sounders. To add an additional sounder:
1. Switch off both Sounders battery switch.
2. Ensure the converter is connected to panel
3. Press the converter ‘Learn’ button for 5 to 10 seconds.
The LED on the converter will light a green
colour and then switch off.
4. Press the learn button once.
The LED on the converter will light a green colour and then switch off.
5. Switch on the Sounder 1 battery switch during the 20 seconds.
The converter LED will flash twice to
indicate the sounder is programmed.
