CAUSE  AND CORRECTION

The language is not  recorded on the disc.

This function may be available only through the disc  menu

Multi-angles are not recorded on the DVD.

Change the angles when the angle mark appears on the TV screen.

Changing the angles is prohibited on the DVD.

Point the remote control at the IR sensor of the DVD video player.

The remote control is too far from the DVD video player.

Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the IR
sensor on the DVD video player.

Replace the batteries and make sure they are inserted properly.

Static electricity, etc., may affect the system’s operation. Turn the power
off and on again to reset.

One of the safety mechanisms may be operating. In this event, unplug the
player from the power outlet briefly and then plug it in again.

If the problem persists, refer to a qualified service professional.

CAUTION !

• Before cleaning, turn off the power and unplug the AC power cord from the wall outlet.
• To clean this unit, wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Maintenance

CAUTION !

•  Consult your authorized dealer in the case of  any faults.
•  For transporting the set use the original packaging  only.
• If the DVD player is not being used, the disc tray should always remain closed to protect the

mechanism against dust. However, it is still possible that the vents become dirty from dust or
the lens could get covered by a thin, hardly visible, film.

• Electronic components are subject to a natural aging process. The mechanical parts are subject

to normal wear.

• Dust particles inside the device may cause  problems may occur.  If  the laser lens get dirty, and

the system is no longer able to scan the inserted disc , have the lens cleaned by a qualified
service technician.

specialists only. All maintenance and service work must be carried out by authorized companies
only. Inexpert repair work may endanger the operator’s life.
