Intended Use
The pump FP 430 Ex S-41/38 FOOD is used for optimised emptying of drums and con-
tainers for food, in particular alcohols or alcohol-containing food.
The sanitary pump FP 427 S-43/38 FOOD is used for the sterile pumping of food,
cosmetics or pharmaceutical products.
The pumps correspond to the general requirements of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004
of 27 October 2004 on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
Outside the EC other national regulations are to be observed. In the US pumps are
used that are conform to FDA (CFR 21 Part - Food and Drugs) or 3A approved.
The pumps made for transferring food acc. to Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 are
suitable for multiple contacts with all food categories provided a contact time is not
exceeded by 24 h and a contact temperature of 40 °C, including a brief heating to a
maximum of 85 °C.
