system, during work breaks, and when
not in use.
• The cross-section of mains connection
lines must be no smaller than rub-
ber hose lines with the designation
H07RN8-F. The line must be 10 m
long. The flexible lead cross-section of
the extension cord must at least 2.5
mm

.
Initial Operation
Positioning/Hanging
• The dimensions of the pump shaft must
be not less than 40 x 40 x 50 cm, in
order that the float switch (
7) can
move freely.
• The pump can be suspended by the
round handle (
1) or placed on the
shaft floor.
The pump can be suspended and/or
removed using the nylon cord (
11)
provided.
To hang up safely, loop the nylon cord
around both of the cable holders that
are pointing downwards and pull it up-
wards through the round handle.
Never suspend the pump by the hose.
Ensure that the equipment is
not hung up or held by the
mains cable. There is a risk
of electric shock from dam-
aged mains cables.
Note that, over time, dirt and sand
may collect on the bottom of the
shaft, which could damage the
pump.
We recommend standing the pump
on a brick.
If the water level is too low, the silt
in the shaft can quickly dry out and
impede the pump when warming
up.
Mains Connection
The pump you have purchases is already
fitted with an earthed plug. The equipment
is designed for connection to an earthed
wall socket with a residual current operat-
ed device (RCD switch) at 230 V ~ 50Hz.
Connecting the Pressure Line
The pump is installed
- Either with a fixed pipeline
- Or with a flexible hose line.
1. Screw the bracket adapter (10)
onto the pump outlet (3).
2. Fit the hose over the reducer (9)
and secure it with a hose clamp.
Or use a screw connection at
the bracket adapter (10) or the
reducer (9).
Outlet with a 1½” internal thread on
the pump for connection of the angle
adapter (10) or for direct connection
of a hose with a 1½” external thread;
Outlet with 1½“ external thread at the
bracket adapter (10) for connection of
the reducer (9) or a 1½“ screw con-
nection;
Outlet on reducer (9) for connection of
a 1¼” or 1½” hose as a compression
joint (fixing with a hose clamp);
Outlet with 1“ external thread at the re-
ducer (9) for connection of a 1“ screw
connection;
Outlet with 1½“ thread at the reducer
(9) for connection of a 1“hose as
clamp connection (fixing with a hose
clamp).
