5.1 Step 1: Connect the DVR to the Docking Stand (optional)
The DVR can be positioned in an upright, vertical
position using the included docking stand, or laid
horizontally.
• For vertical orientation, position the DVR over
the docking stand. Push down on the DVR until
you hear a “click”.
• To remove the DVR from the docking stand,
hold the docking stand down firmly on a flat sur-
face and pull the DVR up.
5.2 Step 2: Connect the Receiver & Set Up Wireless Cameras
1. Connect the wireless camera cable to the included power adapter, then connect to a
local power outlet or surge protector.
2. Connect the wireless receiver to the rear USB port.
NOTE
• If you have purchased additional compatible wireless cameras (sold separately), see 8 Pairing Cam-
eras , page 15 for instructions on pairing the cameras with the receiver.
• A maximum of 4 wireless cameras can be installed per system.
• For detailed setup instructions, see the Quick Start Guide provided with your wireless camera(s) and
receiver.
