Clock
The clock is located in the center of the upper control panel. It has two digital displays and four three-position
switches used to change and adjust the clock settings and functions. The clock’s display can be changed
to read:
•
time of day
•
flight time (not used)
•
elapsed time
3.5.2.1.1.
Clock Controls
The clock has four controls used to adjust the time, select the function to be displayed, and control the
elapsed time meter. Refer to Figure 3-3 for the location of the clock controls.
Time Adjust
This switch makes minor time corrections.
UP
is a momentary position and sets the clock one second up for every second held. It
automatically returns to the middle position when released.
SET
is the normal position for this switch.
D
is a momentary position and sets the clock one second down for every second held. It
automatically returns to the middle position when released.
Bright/Dim/Hour Set
This switch sets Bright/Dim, and makes one hour changes.
B
is the Bright position of the display.
DIM
is the dim position of the display.
1 hr up is a momentary position and sets the clock 1 hour ahead for every time the switch is
moved to this position and released.
Function Set
This switch selects which function is to be displayed.
Time
selects the real time function. This function is set to local time and reads in hours, minutes,
and seconds.
F.T.
selects the Flight Time function and reads in hours, minutes, and seconds of actual flight.
This function is not available in the simulator.
E.T.
selects the Elapsed Time function and reads in hours, minutes, and seconds.
