Charging USB devices using the SmartHUB
The SmartHUB has three USB ports:
»
One USB-C Quick Charge port
»
One USB-A Quick Charge port (upper)
»
One USB-A standard port (lower).
All three ports can be used to charge USB devices such as phones and tablets.
Note that on some aircraft, the Quick Charge function may be disabled due to certification
requirements. In this case only the lower USB-A port is available.
Downloading Flight Data from the SmartHUB
SmartHUB data is stored on the SmartHUB on a 256 GB SD card installed in a protective
enclosure. Each flight is stored in a separate file in SmartHUB memory.
While the SD card can be removed to access the data, this is not normally necessary, and not
recommended.
It is recommended that data be downloaded onto a USB memory stick or over an ethernet
connection to a laptop.
