PLEASE NOTE: Excessive microphone volume (Win XP) 

 
If you’re having problems with your microphone gain being excessively 
loud, please follow these steps: 
 
Step 1: Click on Windows XP Control Panel / Sounds & Audio Devices 

Step 2: Select the Audio tab (see Figure A2) 

Step 3: Select the Volume tab under Sound Recording (for Flight Sound 
X) (see Figure A2) 

Step 4: Select the Advanced tab 

Step 5: Untick AGC (adjustable gain control)
