Tips

To change the status of the
PIN query function, you must
enter your PIN. The current
status of the setting is also
confirmed in the display.
Please note that when the PIN
query function is switched off,
anyone who has access to
your mobile phone or SIM card
will be able to make unlimited
calls.

If you use a top-up card, only the
credit which remains on the card
can normally be used. However, if
you have a permanent mobile
phone contract and your mobile is
stolen, it can be used until you in-
struct your network operator to
block the number.
You must therefore consider
whether your convenience in
switching off the PIN query is worth
the risk.

Some SIM cards will not allow the
PIN query function to be switched
off. In this case, the message:
