HYDRAULIC HOSES
Do not use thread sealant/tape on hoses and
fi
ttings.
This could damage product.
1. Attach all hoses to
fi
ttings, routing hoses as
shown. Leave hoses
fi
nger tight at this time.
1/4" x 36" Hose
To PS Rod

3/8" x 42" Hose
To DS Base
(Rear)
3/8" x 38" Hose
To PS Base
(Rear)
1/4" x 16" Hose
To Lift Ram
1/4" x 42" Hose

(Front)
2. Wrap angle ram hoses with protective hose wrap
as shown. Start wrap on base-end hose so wrap
covers diagonal brace. Group hoses away from
brace and continue wrapping, forming a smooth
outward loop to the hydraulic unit.
3. Using a wrench to hold the hose end in position,
tighten all hose
fi
ttings 1/8–1/4 turn past
fi
nger
tight.
