Requirements on the Operating Personnel
In addition, basic knowledge of metrology according to DIN 1319 is es-
sential for performing correct
-ferrite content measurements and evalua-
tions.
Basic computer knowledge regarding configuration, operation and pro-
graming as well as knowledge of the software in use, which may be ob-
tained from respective instruction manuals, is required when using the in-
strument in conjunction with a computer.

Environmental Conditions
EMC
The instrument complies with the laws concerning electromagnetic compat-
ibility of instruments (2014/30/EC). The measured values are not influ-
enced by the highest level of interference mentioned in the EN 61000-6-2
Standard (which references the Standards EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-3
and EN 61000-4-4).
In particular, the instrument is shielded effectively from strong electromag-
netic fields (e.g., motors, power lines, radio transmission towers).
Low Voltage
The instrument adheres to the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EC.
The instrument should be operated only by staff trained for this
purpose!
To avoid damage to the instrument or wrong measurement results
due to a wrong line voltage, the instruments must be connected to
a power outlet only via the AC adapter provided by FISCHER. The
line voltage must agree with the line voltage rating stated on the
nameplate of the AC adapter.
