5.1 Visual inspection of probe tips
Although the probe tip is produced from wear-resistant material, it can become
damaged during the measurement. The probe tip wears over time and should
be replaced after approx. 20,000 measurements. To prevent faulty measure-
ments, the probe tips should therefore be visually inspected at regular intervals.
