8-1 Periodic checks and maintenance 

Periodic checks and maintenance are very important for keeping the engine in good 
condition and durable. The mark (

) indicates that special tools and skills are required, you 

have to contact your dealer. 

WARNING 

Shut off the engine before performing any maintenance. If the engine must run, make sure the 
area is well ventilated. The exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas.
