OPERATION
1.
Connect igniter to red and black terminals. Ensure wires do not touch.
This can cause a short and prevent firing.
2.
Press
TEST
button. TEST LED will illuminate red if there is continuity
around the circuit. Note that TEST function only checks for open /
closed circuit. It will not detect high resistance faults. Use approved
multi meter or galvanometer to check exact circuit resistance if
required.
3.
Continue to hold
TEST
button. READY LED will illuminate once device
is charged to 24V. This normally occurs < 3 seconds. Long charge
times indicate low or inappropriate battery.
4.
Continue to hold
TEST
button and press
FIRE
button to fire the
pyrotechnic effect.
5.
Device will be OFF and capacitors will be discharged < 10s when
TEST
button is released.
