Fireside Audiobox
Owners Manual
IGNITING FLAMES
WARNING
: Always inspect propane cylinder
and appliance propane connections for
damage, dirt, and debris before attaching
propane cylinder. Do not use if head
of cylinder is damaged, punctured or
deteriorated.
ALWAYS ATTACH OR DETACH CYLINDER
OUTDOORS AWAY FROM FLAMES, OTHER
IGNITION SOURCES, AND ONLY WHEN
APPLIANCE IS COOL TO TOUCH. NEVER
SMOKE WHEN ATTACHING OR REMOVING
PROPANE CYLINDER!
Install Propane Cylinder:
8. Use only LP-gas cylinders marked
in accordance with the U.S. Dept. of
Transportation (DOT).
9. Use only 16.4 oz. (1 lb.) disposable
cylinders that mate with No. 600 valve
connection.
10. Appliance and attached cylinder must be
in an upright position during operation.
11. CLOSE GAS FLOW VALVE (#4) ON
CONTROL PANEL BY ROTATING IT ALL
THE WAY TO THE RIGHT (CLOCKWISE).
This ensures that gas doesn’t flow
before you are ready to light it.
12. Slide the side panel up to access the
cylinder mounding assembly. Slide
the assembly out of the box for easier
installation.
13. Screw 1 lb. disposable LP-gas supply
cylinder(s) clock- wise (from bottom)
into appliance until hand-tight.
14. Check cylinder connection for leaks with
soapy water at the threaded connection.
Start gas-flow and ignite flames:
15. Press the ELECTRONIC VALVE (#5)
button to open the valve. The button will
glow BLUE to show it is on and open.
16. Light your lighter (we recommend a
long-stem lighter used for fireplaces and
CONNECTING TO AUDIO
Your Fireside Audiobox can be connected to
your music source via Bluetooth or via hard-
wiring to the AUX port.
Connect via Bluetooth:
1. Turn the unit on by flipping the power
toggle (#1 on page 12) switch up. You
will hear a series of tones to let you
know that device is on. The device
is now searching for a Bluetooth
connection, as indicated by the
FLASHING BLUE LIGHT (#6).
2. On your Bluetooth enabled device, find
“Fireside Audiobox” and initiate the
connection.
3. Once connected, the device will emit
another tone and the indicator light (#6)
will be SOLID BLUE.
4. Volume can be controlled by both
your Bluetooth enabled device, and by
adjusting the Volume Control (#2) on the
Fireside Audiobox control panel.
Connect via hard wiring:
5. Turn the unit on by flipping the power
toggle switch (#1) up. You will hear a
series of tones to let you know that
device is on.
6. Using a 3.5mm auxiliary wire, plug one
end into your device and the other into
the AUX INPUT (#10) port on the back
of the Fireside Audiobox. This will be
indicated by a SOLID GREEN light at the
Bluetooth indicator (#6)
7. Volume can be controlled by adjusting
the Volume Control (#2) on the Fireside
Audiobox control panel.
AUXILIARY INPUT WILL TAKE PRIORITY
OVER BLUETOOTH. IF YOU ARE
CONNECTED VIA THE AUX PORT, THE
FIRESIDE AUDIOBOX WILL NOT CONNECT
WITH A BLUETOOTH DEVICE.
