These instructions are intended as a general guide and do not 
supersede national or local codes in any way.  State or local 
codes may only allow operation of this appliance in a vented 
configuration.  Check your state or local codes.  Authorities 
having jurisdiction should be consulted before installation.

Listed below are the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) 
certification numbers for the gas and ignition systems used with 
firegear outdoor gas log systems. The valve systems are manufactured 
by Skytech II, Inc. The complete systems are not certified as a whole 
due to the lack of standard for decorative outdoor gas burning 
appliance; no such standard is currently available.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS: 

 
<    Do not try to light any appliance. 
 
<    Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use 

any phone in your building. 

 
<    Immediately call your gas supplier from a 

neighbor’s phone.  Follow the gas supplier’s 
instructions. 

 
<    If you can not reach your gas supplier, call the 

fire department. 

 
Do not store combustible materials or use gasoline 
or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity 
of this or any other appliance. 
 
Installation and service must be performed by a:  
Qualified technician, service agency, or the gas
