Turn
the
trACer™
on
by
sliding
the
On/Off
Switch
forward.
The
On/Off
Switch
is
located
on
the
right side
of
the
unit.

Allow
the
trACer™
to
self
‐
test
‐
wait
for
the
rapid
beeps
and
red
flashes
to
stop
(approximately
5
seconds).
If
the
unit
emits
slow,
steady
beeps,
this
means
the
battery
is
low.

before
proceeding.
Hold
the
trACer™
in
front
of
you,
at
arm’s
length,
keeping
the
unit
parallel
to
the
ground,
and
slowly
move
the
unit
from
side
to
side.
NOTE:
This
unit
is
directional.
If
a
potentially
dangerous
AC
source,
wire
or
device
needs
to
be checked,
point
the
device
directly
at
the
suspected
source
and
approach
slowly
the
device
