TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDELINES
What if the fixtures (Desk Lamps and Undercabinet) don't illuminate?
• Check all connections. Is the connection to the supply voltage secure and fully inserted?
• Is the power indicator LED illuminated? (21W and 60W power supplies only) — If the
LED is not illuminated, contact Finelite.
• Is the power supply “OCC SENSOR” switch in the “NO” position?
• Are all low voltage connections secured and fully inserted?
• Are all on/off fixture switches switched to “ON”?
• Check to see that you have not exceeded a total of the maximum rated load of the power
supply - disconnect fixtures until you are below maximum rated load.
What if the fixtures “flash” when powered?
• Check to see that you have not exceeded a total of the maximum rated load of the power
supply - disconnect fixtures until you are below maximum rated load.
• Cycle power on/off to power supply if necessary.
What if the Occupancy Sensor does not turn off system?
• Is the “OCC SENSOR” switch in the “YES” position?
• Is the occupancy sensor connected to the power supply?
• Does the indicator light on the occupancy sensor illuminate? (Note: It will only illuminate
when sensing movement.)
• Try turning the delay to a value between 30 minutes (max) and 30 seconds (min) on back
of sensor (~10-15 minutes works best for most installations).
• Consult occupancy sensor instruction sheet (supplied with sensor) for more information.
What if the Occupancy Sensor turns the system off while seated at a station?
• Make sure the occupancy sensor is set to a delay setting between min and max (10-15
minutes works best for most installations).
• Make sure that the sensor window is not obstructed and facing towards your most common
seated location.
• For best results mount the occupancy sensor underneath your desk.
CARE AND CLEANING OF THE PLS SYSTEM
Your PLS system should operate trouble free for the life of the system. You may periodically wipe
the system clean with a slightly damp soft cloth. Do not use any solvent or alcohol based cleaning
