The air throw of the Polar Cat Duo air cooler in two typical installation cases
Because of the new design of the air discharge opening it is possible to direct the air flow along the
ceiling. The air throw given is valid for the size PCD-201 in nominal condition, those for other sizes
are given in the table of performance data. To guarantee as draught-free cooling and uniform
temperature distribution as possible, it is recommendable to install the air cooler tightly onto the
ceiling (or max. 300 mm from the ceiling). Any barriers (beams, light fittings, back wall) near the air
cooler will change the air throw figure.

Dank des neuen Designs der Luftaustrittöffnung kann die Wurffigur die Decke entlang gerichtet
werden. Die Wurfweiten gelten für das Modell PCD-201 in Nennverhältnissen . Die Wurfweiten der
anderen Modelle sind in der Leistungstabelle angegeben. Um möglichst zugfreie Kühlung und
gleichmässige Temperaturprofil zu garantieren, ist es zweckmässig, den Luftkühler dicht an die
Decke zu montieren (oder max. 300 mm von der Decke entfernt). Die nahe dem Gerät liegenden
Hindernisse für den Luftstrom (Balken, Beleuchter, Hinterwand) ändern die Wurffigur.
