Safety instructions

Important note:
The filter system must not be exposed to temperature exc50°C , open flame,
ashes, live coal or condensed solvents.

Turn off main switch (pict. 1.2, note 3) or disconnect mains when replacing filter.

Do not modify filter system. Repairs should be only carried out by experienced and
authorised personnel.

Hints towards gas filtration:

The best possible gas filtration will be achieved if:
- Process air temperature in the gas filter  < 38 °C
- Relative humidity < 60 % RH
- Gas molecules > 40 g / mol (filtration better with larger molecules)
- Boiling temperature of gas molecules > 0 °C

3.

Taking into operation

Connect the power supply unit (delivered with this unit) between the filter unit and the wall
socket.

Place the filter unit so that the fumes and gases are captured by the extraction arm. Hook
it up on/at the working bench (according to separate instructions, packed together with
the mounting screws). Connect the extraction arm (pic. 1.2 note 5) to the filter unit (pic.
1.2 note 1).

The main filter should be marked with the date of filterchange.

4.

Description of function

Use the main switch (pic. 1.2 note 3)  to turn the filter unit on and off. The lamp in the switch
indicates clogged up main filter

5.

Maintenance and servicing

To make sure that the filter system works proper regulary clean nozzles, suction arm and
tube and change the pre-filter bag. If the unit indicates pressure drop replace main filter.
Normal life time for a main filter in the electronic industry is 1500 h.

5.1

Replacement of filter

Follow the instructions on the exterior of the main filter when exchanging main filter and/or
pre-filter bag. The main filter should be marked with the date of filterchange.

6.
