Service Procedures

Removing and replacing the power supply

This section describes how to remove and replace the power supply.

REMOVE

THE

POWER

SUPPLY

Power off and open the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)

as described in “To shut down the

Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-3 and “To open the
Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)” on page 4-4.

Disconnect the power supply cable from its connectors on the motherboard, ZIP drive,
HDD, and CD-ROM drive.

Remove the four screws on the back panel of the Print Controller X4(AR-PE1)

that attach

the power supply to the tray (see Figure 4-23 on page 4-37).

OTE

Be sure to hold the power supply while you remove the screws.
