3. ASSEMBLY

4. OPERATION
WARNING:
Do not allow familiarity with this product to make you careless. Remember that a careless
fraction of a second is suffi cient to infl ict serious injury.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do
so could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and other possible serious injuries.
WARNING:
Do not use any attachments or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of this
product. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended can result in serious personal injury.
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
Applying hot glue adhesive
INSERTING HOT GLUE STICKS
Use standard 0.28 in. diameter glue sticks in this glue gun.
Make sure the on/off switch is in the off position.
Insert a glue stick through the opening at the back of the glue gun. Guide the glue stick into the glue chamber
until it will go no further.
Place a piece of paper underneath the glue gun to catch any drips while the glue gun is heating.
NOTE:
Different types of glue sticks will heat to working temperature at different rates. Always test on
a scrap piece to make sure the glue is at optimum temperature.
WARNING:
Always place the glue gun so that nozzle does not come in contact with anything while it is
heating or when not in use. Following this rule will reduce the risk of damage to items, burns, fi re, or serious
personal injury.
