INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR ALL SEASONS
•
allow the blades and vacuum system to run when the water is being sprayed
•
if this is not enough, open the access hatch and remove the deposits by hand or using a
suitable tool; if required, spray from the inside,
IN THIS CASE, SWITCH OFF THE
MACHINE!
8.1.3 Weekly work, or every 30 operating hours:
•
lubricate all the lubrication points on the pick-up shaft, large object flap and chassis
with lithium softened commercial lubricant.
•
Remove the guard on the chain drive. Check the chain tension, and if required reset.
•
Protect the chain and open joints (e.g. side arm, undercarriage) with a suitable spray
lubricant.
•
Check the oil level of the hydraulic tank of the vehicle, determine the cause if the oil level is
low and only fill with hydraulic oil as instructed in the operating instructions of the vehicle.
WARNING!
Burning due to hot hydraulic oil!
Work on the hydraulic system may only be carried out when the hydraulic oil cools
down and the hydraulic system is without pressure!
8.2 Decommissioning
8.2.1 Temporary decommissioning
The vacuum machine should be stored as mentioned below when it is decommissioned
temporarily (e.g. during the winter months):
•
disconnect the hydraulics
•
clean the machine and protect with lubricants and grease
•
position the machine on the floor and secure against toppling
IMPORTANT!
Cover with a weather-resistant tarpaulin when storing in the open!
8.2.2 Removal from service
IMPORTANT!
Only allow the manufacturer or another reliable specialist company to dispose
of the machine
to avoid possible environmental contamination.
