Installation
1. Unpacking
Open box and inspect for damages. Locate the optical receiver, power cord, and user’s
manual.
2. Mounting
The
FT-FRXID-RM-SCAPC
is a rack mountable 1RU device. To ensure sufficient
cooling, it is recommended to leave 1.75” spacing above and below device.
3. Making Connections
Plug the power cord into the power supply socket and switch the power on.
All optical connections to the
FT-FRXID-RM-
SCAPC are SC/APC connections. Be
sure to clean all optical connectors before connection. Connect SC/APC connector to
“OPT In” on the rear of the transmitter.
