SET UP AND COMMISSIONING
In order to achieve the optimum feeding result, it is necessary to prepare a feeding plan
in advance. For this purpose, consider when you want to feed how much feed. This means
on which days of the week, which amount of feed is to be introduced over which number
of feedings (max. 6 feedings per day possible). The ejection quantity depends on vari-
ous factors, including the pellet size used, the type of feed used, the ejection speed set,
and the feeding duration. To determine a practicable value, load your automatic feeder
with the desired type of feed and determine the amount of feed that is ejected over 10
seconds at the correspondingly set ejection speed (inverting a bucket and then weighing
the feed). For example, if you get 100g of feed at 10 seconds, you can expect 250g per
feeding at 25 seconds.
