1. Loosen the two bed blade bolts located underneath
feed chute housing
2. Open the chipper blade access cover to view the gap
between the blades and bed blade
3. With the bed blade bolts loosened, move the bed blade
blade in or out to obtain the desired position and
tighten the bolts.
4. It is important to ensure that the minimum gap between
the chipping bed blade and All chipping blades is 1/16”.
All chipping blades should be rotated until even with the
chipping and and then measured. Failure to do so can
result in the chipping blades striking the bed blade and
causing serious risk of injury or death.
5. If the bed blade cannot be moved to specifications due
to wear, rotate the bed blade or replace the bed blade.
Secure all hardware and adjust to torque.
