Installing Festo Automation Suite
Administrator rights and a connection to the Internet are required for this action.
The requirement for the VPPI plug-in is WINDOWS 10, version 1909 or newer.
1. Download the Festo Automation Suite installation file from the Support Portal
2. Start installation by double-clicking on the installation file.
3. Follow instructions in the installation program.

The Festo Automation Suite is installed. The program starts automatically with the start
screen after successful installation depending on the selected option.

Start screen
Projects can be opened and functions that are frequently required at the start can be executed on the
start screen. The start screen is displayed by default when the Festo Automation Suite is started for
the first time.

List of recently used projects

Start options and installations
The list of recently used projects provides quick access to recently used projects. The ‘Browse local
files’ button can be used to open a locally saved project from a directory in the file system.
