3.4 Vacuum/low pressure operation
Thefollowing conditions must be fulfilled in order that the
CPA−SC valve terminal can be operated via supply connection 1
with vacuum or low pressure

the valve terminal must be operated with closed−loop
controlled external pilot air
the valve terminal is fitted only with the following valve
plates and, in some cases has two pressure zones.

connection 1 The pressure zone is fitted only with the following valve plates:
5/2−way valve, single−solenoid (Ident. code M)
5/2−way valve, double−solenoid (Ident. code J)
5/3−way valves (Ident. code B, E and G)
3/2−way valve (Ident. code X) see also following note.
The valve plates with Ident. codes N, K and I are
not resistant to vacuum or
low pressure if they are supplied via connection 1.

overpressure supply

The pressure zone can be fitted additionally with the following valve plates:
2 x 3/2−way valves (Ident. code N, K)
2 x 2/2−way valves (Ident. code I), see also following instruction
