The CPV valve terminals with field bus direct connection
(CPVdirect) described in this documentation have been
designed exclusively for use as slaves on the following field
buses:
CPV−DI02: PROFIBUS−DP
CPV−CS02: ABB CS31
The valve terminal may only be used as follows:
as designated in industrial applications
without any modifications by the user. Only the conver
sions or modifications described in the documentation
supplied with the product are permitted.
in faultless technical condition.
The maximum values specified for pressures, temperatures,
electrical data, torques etc. must be observed.
If additional commercially−available components such as sen
sors and actuators are connected, the specified limits for
pressures, temperatures, electrical data, torques, etc. must
not be exceeded.
Please comply with national and local safety laws and
regulations.
If implementing an emergency stop function, note the
measures listed in section 1.5.3.

This manual is intended exclusively for technicians trained in
control and automation technology, who have experience in
installing, commissioning, programming and diagnosing
slaves on the field buses named above.
