EMCY message (EMCY message)

D.7.1

Function: EMCY message

The EMCA monitors the function of the internal modules (e.g. output stage) and the firmware.

If an error occurs, the parameterised error reaction is introduced and the corresponding EMCY message

is sent. The newest error message is hereby always stored in the highest error memory position

(1003h_01h). The last 8 error messages that occurred are stored in the error memory, and they can

also be read out.

The EMCA also sends an EMCY message when an error acknowledgment has been executed.
