• Insert the clamping plate into the slot of the bolts.

Installing the gear racks
Note
The open side of the piston seal must face the closed side of the gear rack.
• Press the new piston seals into position on both gear racks.
• Place the housing on its left side so that you can see the position of the
gear racks.
Note
Grease the gear racks with LUB-E1 before use.
• Push the gear racks into the piston chamber from the rear of the housing.
Note
The open side of the gear racks must face the front of the housing and the
gearing must face the centre of the housing.
• Position the gear racks based on the notes you made during removal, making
sure that the surface of the gear rack does not project over the respective side
of the housing.
Note (DHTG-140 only)
The gear rack that lies next to the impact plate must be moved inwards by one
tooth, as otherwise correct functioning of the rotary indexing table cannot be
guaranteed.
