Removing the gear racks
Note
The mounting position of some components depends on the configuration
of the rotary indexing table and may differ from the images shown here.
Note the position of the gear racks, spacing bolts, blanking plugs and shock
absorber for subsequent assembly.
• Loosen the hollow bolt in the impact plate on the front of the housing and
unscrew it.
Note
The impact plate has spring tensioning on one side and can twist when the
socket head screws are unscrewed.
• Loosen the socket head screws in the impact plate and unscrew them.

Note
Take care of the compression spring at the rear when removing the stop
plate, as it can easily be lost.
• Remove the impact plate from the housing.
• Pull the compression spring out of the impact plate.
