Attaching the test equipment
Warning
Read the test requirements in chapter
Note (DGE-…-ZR(-KF) only)
The test equipment must be positioned on the side where the piston distance
was set. This is the only way to ensure that the freely oscillating strand
length is correct.
•
Refer to the table for the position of the test equipment.

Note the position of the stop bolt
Depending on the design of the toothed belt axis, the following methods can be
used to ensure the correct position of the test equipment on the toothed belt
axis:
With position stops (DGE-…-ZR-…)
Note
The position stops are necessary to align the test equipment with the
toothed belt axis.
•
Place the position stops on the test equipment as appropriate to the size of
the toothed belt axis.
•
Secure the position stops using the knurled screws.
•
Place the test equipment on the toothed belt axis to the left or right of the
slide/piston (S.L. or S.R.) in accordance with the table.
•
Push the test equipment forwards so that the position stops on the cylinder
barrel touch the toothed belt axis.
Note (DGE-…-ZR-KF)
The guide rail of the toothed belt axis must be pointing forwards to check
the toothed belt pretension.
