Diagnostics via the CPX bus node
Malfunctions of the connected I-Port devices are reported to the CPX bus node as CPX error messages.
The following sections describe the special features of the representation for the CPX-specific dia
gnostics options.

5.4.2
I/O diagnostic interface and diagnostic memory
The CTEL master module reports specific diagnostic information to the CPX bus node. Via the I/O dia
gnostic interface and the diagnostic memory of the CPX terminal, it is possible to apply the diagnostics
to individual I-Port devices. The I-Port devices connected to a CTEL master module are treated as input
or output channels within the CPX terminal.
Detailed information about the I/O diagnostic interface and diagnostic memory can be
found in the CPX system description (
è
P.BE-CPX-SYS-…).
