User instructions
The CP fieldbus node 5 is designed exclusively for use as a
slave on the following fieldbus systems.
–
Festo fieldbus
–
ABB Systembus
–
Klöckner-Moeller SUCOnet K.
The limit values of the technical specifications must be ob-
served.
Please refer to the manual P.BE CP-FB5-E... for detailed infor-
mation.
WARNING:
•
Switch off the power supply before you connect or discon-
nect plugs (danger of functional damage).
•
Use power supplies which guarantee reliable electrical isola-
tion of the operating voltage as per IEC/DIN EN
60204-1. Consider also the general requirements for PELV
circuits in accordance with IEC/DIN EN 60204-1.
•
Connect an earth conductor with sufficient cross section to
the connection marked with , if the valve terminal is not
fitted on an earthed machine stand.
PLEASE NOTE
Only operate a node which is completely fitted and
electrically wired.
