Reading example for the diagrams in the appendix Characteristic curves"
(pages 113 to 116)
With a loading of 100 N and a distance of
700mm between supports the DMES−... will
bend 0.05 mm.
In the stat" range only static loadings are
permitted (slide stands still).
Fitting external accessories
Protecting the end positions against uncontrolled overrunning
S
Check whether proximity switches are necessary (as safety limit switches or
hardware limit switches).
If you are using proximity switches (sensors)
S
Use proximity switches with normally−
closed function.
These will protect a DMES−... with a
fractured proximity switch cable against
overrunning the end position.
If you are using magnetically−actuated proximity switches
S
Note that the magnet is situated asymmetrically on the inner slide (on the side
facing away from the motor).
S
Use the grooves in accordance with Fig.22.
S
Avoid external influence caused by mag
netic or ferritic parts in the vicinity of the
proximity switches (at least 10 mm gap
from the sliding blocks).
In this way you can ensure that the
switches function faultlessly.
