Operating Information
• Use the FD64K for recommended uses only, any deviation may
cause personal injury or property damage.
• Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and heavy-duty work
gloves during use.
• Maintain a clean and well-lit work space.
• Keep bystanders clear of your work space during assembly
and operation.
• Always maintain proper footing and balance, ensuring better
control while crimping ferrules and terminals.
• Keep hands and fingers away from the crimping head, the
FD64K creates approximately 13.5kn (3,034 pound-force).
• Do not operate when tired or under the influence of
intoxicants.
• Never attempt to crimp wires plugged into live electrical
circuits.
• When crimping large terminals, ensure the air source and
pressure is enough.
• Refer to the wire manufacturer’s instruction manual for specific
wire crimping instructions prior to using this product.
• Maintain product labels and name plates. These carry
