Map Views
You can determine whether you want to see a two-dimensional or three-dimensional
map in daylight or nighttime conditions.
The
2D Day Mode View
is optimized for a daytime viewing. 2D views let you manually
pan or zoom. For an example, refer to
Figure 1 - 2D Day Mode Map View
.
The
2D Night Mode View
is optimized for night driving or adverse weather conditions.
For an example, refer to
Figure 2 - 2D Night Mode Map View.
The
3D Mode Day View
or
Night View
provides you with a three-dimensional map for
day or night driving. For an example, refer to
Figure 3 - 3D Day Mode Map View
and
Figure 4 - 3D Night Mode Map View
.
From the
Options
menu, you can click from the following buttons:
3D Mode
button to view a three-dimensional map. If the map already
appears in three-dimensions,
2D Mode
is displayed on the toggle button.
2D Mode
button to view a two-dimensional map. If the map already appears
in two-dimensions,
3D Mode
is displayed on the toggle button.
You can click the
Night Mode
button to display the map in night conditions.
If the map already appears in night mode,
Day Mode
is displayed on the
toggle button.
You can click the
Day Mode
button to display the map in day conditions. If
the map already appears in day mode,
Night Mode
is displayed on the
toggle button.
