We offer highly detailed interior fittings for our models, which are upgraded with numerous metal parts. For models
with locomotive numbers 01-03, the set ZRS0205-INNEN(-FM) is available. For models with a high engine number,
please use ZRS0205-B-INNEN(-FM). If you choose this up-grade when ordering, we will ship your model with the
matching interior design.
Open the model:
The case is attached to the frame by four clips (below). To remove it you have to loosen both clamps first on one
side, then on the other side while you gently pull on the housing.
Attention: A "finger contact" with the drive rods is absolutely to be avoided! Bent rods damage the
model!
Decoder installation:
You have the possibility to have your 2095 models digitalized by FERRO-TRAIN. Select the Up-Grade 205-DIGITAL
or 205-SOUND when ordering. We use ZIMO decoders for NEM 651 interfaces (e.g., MX621).
Do not fit the detail parts to the model yet! The delicate handlebars could be damaged. If the model is already
equipped, try removing the handlebars again and do not glue them back until you have finished the conversion.
Carefully open your model and replace the jumper plug by a decoder of your choice.
Now test the function of the conversion! So first a check (for example, address query) should be done on the
programming track. Then a test drive (distance 115 cm) is necessary.
Close the model by putting the body back on. Attention! When removing the position of the driver's cabs may
change. Pay attention to a good fit, otherwise the model could be damaged.
If there is an small gap between the housing and the frame after the final assembly, the board may still be too
high. In this case you have to push the light box a little deeper into the chassis.
Of course, FERRO-TRAIN assumes no liability for damages caused by the installation of a decoder. If you are still
inexperienced, you should have the decoder installed by us or another professional.
Assembly of the accessories:
Each model of the 2095
comes with a small set of
detail parts. The parts only
need to be put into the
holes, but we recommend
fixing them with very little
adhesive for frequent plant
operation. Depending on
the era of your model,
brass plates should also be
used. Use very little glue on
the back of the plates! We
recommend
solvent-free
cyanoacrylate
adhesive
(Styrofoam adhesive).
