Collector System Removal

See the blower's operator's manual included with the blower

mount for instructions on removing the blower from the

mower deck. Whenever the collector is removed from the

unit, the blower, and the blower mount must also be removed,

and the mower deck's discharge chute must be re-installed.
1. Using the two (2) rubber straps, disconnect the discharge

hose from the blower (A, Figure 54)

54

2. Place the winch and mount assembly (C, Figure 55) into

the tube of the winch quick mount (D).

55

3. Place the winch lock lever in the middle position (A,

Figure 56) this will allow you to pull the winch hook (E,

Figure 55) to the hopper.

56

4. Install the winch hook into the winch anchor bracket (F,

Figure 55). The winch hook must be facing upwards so

that the latch bar (G) closes on top of the winch anchor

bracket.

5. Place the winch lock lever in the upright position (B,

Figure 56) and rotate the winch handle

clockwise

 so that

the winch is holding the hopper in the upright position.

6. Remove the two hitch pins (H, Figure 55) that secure the

hopper to the hopper mount.
