1.6 Symbol Glossary
The symbols defined here are used on the transporter and/or in this’
manual. Ferno uses symbols recognized by the International Standards
Organization (ISO), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and
the emergency medical services industry.
1.5 Ambulance Requirements
Federal Ambulance Specifications KKK-A-1822 (current version) outlines
requirements for ambulances including patient transport devices,
fastening systems, and patient restraints.
