Safety information
CAUTION:
•
FENNEK may not be operated by children and people with restricted psychological and/or physical abilities.
People with restricted abilities as well as animals must maintain an adequate safety distance away from
FENNEK.
•
Improper use can lead to burns and injuries from getting jammed, crushed or cut. This applies to all parts as
well as the aluminum case. Always follow the assembly instructions and observe the helpful hints and notes
in the instructions for use.
•
Always wear barbecue mitts and an apron, and use proper barbecue tools for positioning and turning the
food.
•
Fluids and other substances, especially combustible materials, can lead to deflagration or shooting flames.
Never add such substances to embers or food.
•
The burning of any material always causes smoke, and thus, creates carbon monoxide, which can lead to
smoke poisoning and death. Never use FENNEK in enclosed rooms. FENNEK is designed for outdoor use only.
A first aid kit as well as a fire extinguisher should always be closeby when having a barbecue.
7.
Service
•
The stainless steel plates might slightly warp due to inconsistent heat expansion.
•
The impact of heat stress on the material can cause discoloration.
•
Burning resinous or wet firewood can result in black discoloration that might burn into the product
permanently.
•
Discoloration and traces of usage, such as scratches or slight warps of the plates, do not affect the function of
the grill and do not constitute a claim under the warranty.
•
No changes or modifications may be made to the FENNEK grill. Any such changes or modifications may pose a
potential safety hazard.
•
Repairs may only be executed by the manufacturer.

Disposal
Always keep the environment in mind: The packaging as well as the layer pads can be thrown into your paper waste bin or be
disposed at your local paper collection point. Aluminum and other metals are valuable commodities. Please take them to your
local recycling center or depot, or to one of the numerous scrap yards. Thank you!
