Switch and gear-selecting action
CAUTION:
• Before inserting the battery cartridge into the tool, always check to see that the switch
trigger actuatesproperly and returns to the “OFF” position whenreleased.
1. To start using the tool, simply pull the switch trigger.Tool speed isincreased by
increasing pressure onthe switch trigger. Release the switch trigger to stop.
2. The machine has two gear settings and you can switch between high speed
(2nd gear) and low speed (1st gear) by selecting the gear shift button.

Reversing switch action
1. This tool has a reversing switch to
change the direction ofrotation.
Depress the reversing switch lever
fromthe A side for clockwise rotation
orfrom the B side for
counterclockwiserotation.
2. When the reversing switch lever is in
the neutral position, theswitch
trigger cannot be pulled.
CAUTION:
• Always check the direction of rotation
before operation.
• Use the reversing switch only after the tool
comes to acomplete stop. Changing
thedirection of rotation beforethe tool stops
may damage the tool.
• When not operating the tool, always set the
reversingswitch lever to the neutral position.
