The entire sensor pad has to be covered by material.
The sensor pad has to be laying on a flat surface. The
meter needs to be slightly pressed against the material
while obtaining measurements. Ensure that there is
no metal or similar material underneath the measured
wood or concrete. This can influence the measurement
readings.
The measuring depth is 15–20 mm and depends on
moisture content and density of the measured material.
If the thickness of the selected material is less than 15
mm, be sure to put light-weight stryrofoam support base
underneath the material.
There mustn´t be any other objects under the material.
When measuring concrete there mustn´t be any pipes,
insulation or metal mesh near the measuring field.
