The room/enclosure in which the
vacuum cleaner is disassembled
should be well ventilated. Wear per-
sonal protective equipment during
maintenance. After the maintenance,
the maintenance area should be
cleaned.
Products that have come into contact
with asbestos may not be sent in for
repair. Dispose of products contam- inated with asbestos according to the
applicable country-specific regula-
tions for such disposal.

vacuum cleaner can be viewed on
the Internet at www.fein.com.
If required, you can change the
following parts yourself:
Fleece filter bag, disposal bag, flat-
fold filter, hose, tool adapter, elbow,
vacuum tubes, crevice nozzle, floor
nozzle, bristle lips, rubber lips, step
adapter, vacuum brushes
Fault Finding.
Malfunction Cause Troubleshooting
Vacuum cleaner can-
not be switched on. Circuit breaker of
power connection
has tripped. Ensure power supply.
Vacuum cleaner in
remote control oper-
ation. Set operating-mode selec-
tor switch to “
I ”.
Reduced vacuuming
capacity. Vacuum cleaner not
fitted correctly. Mount vacuum cleaner lid
properly and completely
close both fasteners.
Vacuum system
clogged. Clean vacuum hose and
extension tubes.
Fleece filter bag full. Replace fleece filter bag.
Flat-fold filter full.
Replace flat-fold filter.
Disposal bag full. Replace disposal bag.
Dust escapes during
vacuuming. Incorrect installation
position of
flat-fold filter Correct installation position
of flat-fold filter.
No suction capacity
when wet vacuuming. Container full. Empty container.
The automatic shut-off
(while wet vacuuming)
does not respond. Sensors soiled/ dirty. Clean sensors and space in
between with a brush.
Container full. For electrically non-con-
ductive liquids, check filling
level and empty container,
as required.
