Changing the tool
Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, remove the bat-
tery.
This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries through
accidental starting of the power tool.
The symptom for worn punches and dies are a clearly increased feed force at lower working
progress.
For optimum cuts, replace the punch and die together.
Replacing the punch (figure 7).
Apply a light coat of grease to the new punch
before inserting it.
Loosen the union nut, then pull out the die.
Replace the punch and remount the die.
Tighten the union nut.
