4.1 Jumper and Switches
Fig. 7 shows the position of the jumpers and switches on the printed circuit board of the
ID CPR.02.10 The jumpers and switches are only accessible at the opened device.

S1:
DIP-switch to configure the Reader address.
X1:
Terminal for sticking up the connection board.
X2 / X3 / X4:
Jumper for termination resistors of the RS485 interface (only ID CPR.02.10-B).
4.2 Power supply
The power supply is effected via the connectors [+ /
~
] and [- /
~
]. The device may be supplied ei-
ther with 12 - 24 V AC or DC. In case of DC supply, the polarity may be chosen freely.
For the dimensioning of the power supply and the connecting cable the voltage drop on the cable
must be calculated. The following table will give an orientation about the possible cable length for
different supply voltages and the cable diameters.
