1.1. Project Notes
The antenna configuration described permits detection of labels which are moving in a horizontal
direction through the gate. The gate distance GD depends on the selected label orientation. This
can be parallel to the antennas (

), at right angles to the antennas (
d
) or a combination of both
orientations, whereby the gate distance GD is the narrowest in the a combination of both orienta-
tions.
The gate height (GH) depends on the antenna overlapping AO, that must not be smaller than
15cm. Different gate heights by different antenna overlappings are shown above:
