Use
Setting up your work area
Ensure your work area is clear of obstruction or hazard. Ensure the work piece is secure. Use
clamps or a vice to hold the work piece, it is safer than using your hand and allows you to
have both hands free to operate the sander. Keep the immediate area clear from other people
in order to avoid a hazard. Do not operate in wet or damp situations. Wear eye and ear
protection at all times, and a dust mask and suitable gloves when appropriate.
The sander is not designed for wet sanding.
Inhalation of sanding dust is dangerous to your health. Do not inhale them.
To extract the dust, connect the suction hose of a household vacuum cleaner to the exhaust
opening of the sander using the adaptor if necessary. Switch the vacuum on before you
operate the sander.
Wear a dust mask when using this power tool.
Do not apply any additional pressure to the machine while sanding as the weight of the
machine itself is sufficient.

CLEANING

To clean the outer surface of the sander, use a soft damp cloth and dry it afterwards with a dry
towel. Clean only after unplugging from the mains supply.
All removable parts on the sander should be detached and cleaned thoroughly in warm, soapy
water at regular intervals.
Store the machine and instruction manual and any accessories in the original packaging so
that they are kept together.
Maintain your power tool with care and keep it clean. Servicing a double insulated unit
requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified
service personnel.

maintenance.
The tool must be kept clean and free from dust and away from liquids.

If the supply cord of this power tool is damaged, it must be replaced by a specially prepared
cord available through the service organization.
